Exactly one year ago, the fear and anguish of many became a reality with the terrorist attacks at Zaventem Airport and Maelbeek Metro Station.
Many of our members were touched by these events, and on behalf of the Board, I wish to express BELRIM’s sincere thoughts to all of them on this sad anniversary.
We realise that rising from the ashes after such a blow is a long, challenging and often painful process. We hope you all recover, heal and grow stronger.
Imagining worst case scenarios is one of the key activities in risk management, having to implement the crisis plan based on them is all about putting theory into practice.
May we all draw lessons from this case, continue to share our experience and support each other through our network.
