BELRIM welcomes its new members at the beginning of September. This year this event coincided with the BELRIM Prize Ceremony.
There were 4 candidates for the BELRIM Prize which focuses on a paper (bachelor, master or PhD) related to Risk and Insurance Management. All papers were of high quality and it was a neck-and-neck race for the final result.
We were happy to welcome and congratulate them on their achievement:
- 4th position: Aster Duflou (Construction of a quantitative macroeconomic reverse stress test for a simulated bank)
- 3rd position: Yves Delcommenne (La communication d’un Risk Manager dans une structure d’entreprise complexe: contraintes et atouts requis);
- 2nd position: Justine Krupa (Quel est le coût de la gestion des risques assurables au sein du Groupe CMI?
and finally, from the HEC Liège, under the supervision of her promotor Prof. Didier Van Caillie:
- 1st position: Merry Moreaux (Sensibilisation à la gestion des risques opérationnels dans une PME).
Merry will join us at the FERMA FORUM in Berlin where she will follow seminars and meet students from several other European countries.
